Patrícia Vieira

Patrícia Vieira is an Adjunct Professor at the Polytechnic Institute of Viana do Castelo, where she has taught since 1998 on various courses in the areas of communication, multimedia and product design. She has a PhD in Design from the University of Porto, a master's degree in Digital Arts from the Portuguese Catholic University and a degree in Equipment Design from the Escola Superior de Artes e Design (ESAD Matosinhos). She has been awarded nationally and internationally in multimedia and product design competitions. She has had design competition projects, carried out individually or in co-authorship, exhibited in several European countries, the USA and Japan. Since 1999, she has developed projects within the scope of institutional communication design for various technical-scientific and artistic events. His areas of research interest include communication design, UX and UI design, product design, design for sustainability and strategic design.
