Stimulate relations with the business fabric of the northern territory of Portugal, starting with Alto Minho;

 

Promote and stimulate Research in Design by creating and supporting activities and projects relating to other entities in the territory;

 

Develop studies, projects and actions that can, with the collaboration of external partners, help to implement sustainability, innovation and development factors for the territory and its economic and social activities;

 

Collaborate in R&D projects that can determine the Pole not only as a mediator but also as an entity capable of developing strategies and guiding activities where design enhances its important role as a mediator between the community that produces and the one that uses.
